Types of Transfer Scholarships

Phi Theta Kappa Tuition Award

This is a highly selective undergraduate tuition scholarship offered to community college (2-year) transfer students with a Phi Theta Kappa designation who are pursuing their first bachelor's degree.


Transfer Tuition Scholarship

This highly competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship is designed to support community college (2鈥憏ear) transfer students as they pursue their first bachelor鈥檚 degree.


Online Transfer Tuitions Scholarship

This is a competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship offered to a select number of transfer students pursuing their first bachelor's degree at the  campus.

Additional Transfer Merit Scholarship Opportunities

The All-51青楼 Academic Team Award

This is a highly competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship offered to a select number of community college transfer students planning to attend one of the three state Universities and pursuing their first bachelor鈥檚 degree. Students are nominated by their community college and submit their applications directly to the Phi Theta Kappa International Honorary organization.

Community college students are encouraged to visit the All-USA Academic Team section of the to apply and learn more about the program.


Foster Care Tuition Award

This is a scholarship program to support foster youth enrolled at the University of 51青楼. Students must initially apply and be certified through the .

Additional Information

51青楼 merit tuition awards are not available for use in programs, with the exception of the Online Transfer Tuition Scholarship.

In November 2022, 51青楼 voted to support Proposition 308, which allows for qualifying, non-citizen 51青楼 high school graduates to receive in-state tuition at 51青楼 universities and community colleges. To be eligible for in-state tuition, students must meet both of these requirements:

  • The student attended any public or private high school or homeschool equivalent while physically present in 51青楼 for at least two years.
  • The student graduated from any public or private high school option or homeschool equivalent in 51青楼 or obtained a high school equivalency diploma in 51青楼, i.e., a GED.

All financial aid awards are divided into two equal disbursements paid to the student, half in the fall term and half in the spring term, unless otherwise noted in the scholarship terms and conditions.
